| The team prepare to tackle a tough climb and heli winch stunt in the scenic back country near Queenstown. |

Together they set off on a life changing journey around this diverse country. Stopping to tackle glaciers, dangle from helicopters, conquer the infamous Nevis bungy and endure a classic kiwi adventure race.
Arriving in Fox Glacier on the West Coast of the South Island Jack and the team were overwhelmed by the towering, pristine landscape. At first light they set off with seasoned local guides to attempt ice climbing on the glacier. This new experience took them a million miles from the pavements of London. The Adrenaline Junkies were dropped into a remote area by helicopter and challenged to climb vertical ice walls and learn to carve their steps carefully in the icy landscape.
Next stop was Queenstown, an international mecca for adventure travellers. Queenstown mixes European sophistication with outdoor action and unparalleled scenery. It is no wonder Jack returned to find out what new challenges were on offer. This time round the Adrenaline Junkies faced a terrifying slack line attempt across a raging river. It was a test of courage and mind over matter as they relied on thin cables to get them across the river at a great height. Next up was a heli winch off a mountain in the back country of Queenstown. After a grueling uphill climb the team arrived triumphantly at the summit, only to be met with the roar of a waiting helicopter. The way down was quick and exhilarating as they were one-by-one winched off the summit under the helicopter. Not content with these thrills the team also took on the Nevis bungy. Perched 134m above the Nevis River the bungy offers 8.5 seconds of freefall for those brave enough to make the leap.
For their last stop Jack and the team traveled to the Coromandel region on the east coast of the North Island. The Coromandel is renowned as a beautiful beach escape for New Zealanders, but it also offers terrain that kiwi adventurers love to explore. The Adrenaline Junkie’s found themselves signed up for an extreme 12-hour adventure race, taking them from sea to rainforest using kayaks, bikes, leg power and an oversized plastic ball we like to call the Zorb!
Lining up with enthusiastic locals at a beautiful bay Jack and the team prepared themselves for a true test of their kiwi spirit. Could they make it through the most challenging and gut wrenching race yet? The team couldn’t turn down the chance to experience a classic kiwi adventure, but it was going to be a long and dramatic day.
The final days of the trip saw the team recovering in style in the metropolitan city of Auckland. Taking advantage of the panoramic views from the Sky Tower the Adrenaline Junkies sat down to reflect on all they had achieved in this amazing country and why New Zealand is the ‘must visit’ destination for all adrenaline junkies.
