TODAY host Karl Stefanovic spent an adventure filled weekend surrounded by Taupo’s volcanic and geothermal wonders.

Karl experienced the beauty of Taupo from land and water; taking an exhilarating jet boat ride down the Waikato River, walking across Mt Tawawera Volcano, and explored White Island, an active volcano, by helicopter. Karl described his Taupo experience as the most exhilarating sight-seeing he’d ever done. "It’s so worth seeing, I will tell everyone to go over and check it out themselves, because they won’t forget it". Karl stayed at Acacia Cliffs Lodge, the perfect resting place after a long day of adventure.
