QUALITY ASSURANCE
Look for the Qualmark, New Zealand tourism's official mark of quality.

Eastland is the place for soft adventure – surfing, swimming, white water rafting, horse trekking, jet boating, trout fishing, quad biking, deep-sea fishing, golf, diving, kayaking and snorkelling with sharks (in a cage!).  Numerous historical and cultural sights cross your path as you meander through the quiet coastal villages.

Seasonal Tips

DURING YOUR VISIT

Visit the wineries – Gisborne has the largest area of Chardonnay vineyards in New Zealand and is the third largest grape growing region in the country. Set off on a quad bike adventure – down-on-the-farm action that includes forest trails and great views of Poverty Bay. Enjoy a blast at sunrise or sunset. Follow a garden trail and view a variety of urban and country gardens. The daffodils at Eastwoodhill Arboretum are not to be missed.
