Photograph massive displays of tulips and daffodils. Catch the farm show at the Agrodome – the lambs are at their cutest. Cruise to Mokoia Island in the middle of Lake Rotorua, where kiwis are among the many New Zealand’s birds flourishing in the rich native forest. Look for fluffy waterfowl chicks at Paradise Valley Springs. Go for a jet boat blast across the lakes. Kayak across Lake Rotoiti to Manupirua Natural Hot Springs for a relaxing soak.
