Distance: 781 km (488 miles) Tana and Petra set off from Eden Park Auckland, where the Rugby World Cup 2011 Final will be held. Petra travels north to go sand boarding down spectacular sand dunes, and Tana heads to Mid-northern Rugby club where he chats to a legendary All Black. It is in Northland they visit the magnificent Tane Mahuta, the largest Kauri tree in New Zealand. After they journey to the Bay of Islands, where they take a boat ride through a hole in a rock.
