Day One: Arrive New Zealand Arrive into Auckland and enjoy the sparkling harbour, picturesque bays, and other features of this vibrant, bustling and multi-cultural city before heading out for an afternoon round of golf at the legendary Titirangi Golf Club.
Day Two: Auckland to Bay of Island’s This morning you will collect your rental car and take a scenic drive from Auckland to the beautiful Bay of Islands. Take in views of the gorgeous Waitemata Harbour, scenic market gardening and dairy lands before spending the next two nights at the world famous Lodge at Kauri Cliffs.
Day Three: Kauri Cliffs This morning enjoy the challenge of Kauri Cliffs, sister course of Cape Kidnappers. The par 72 championship golf course measures 7,119 yards/ 6,510 metres and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level. Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean, six of which are played alongside cliffs which plunge to the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland.
Day Four: Bay of Island’s to Taupo This morning you depart kauri Cliffs and self drive to Lake Taupo, a famous lake stretching 40km south from the borough of Taupo to the town of Turangi. Lake Taupo offers some of the best trout fishing in New Zealand and is an ideal location for all kinds of water sports.
Day Five: Taupo to Hawkes Bay This morning enjoy a round of golf at the exclusive Kinloch Golf Club. This afternoon you drive to Hawkes Bay where you will spend the next two nights at world famous Cape Kidnappers Lodge.
Day Six: Cape Kidnappers Today you play the same course as the competitors in the ‘Kiwi Challenge. Completed in 2004, Cape Kidnappers has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf and is currently ranked the 41st best golf course in the world.
Day Seven: Depart New Zealand Following breakfast enjoy some time at leisure before driving to Napier Airport to return rental car and check in for your Air New Zealand flight home.
