Following the dramatic rose ceremony at Stoneridge Estate in Queenstown, Jason took his final two dates to beautiful Northland.
Located at the top of New Zealand’s North Island, Northland has a subtropical coastline where Jason and his dates discover adventure and romance. Whether your desire is to ‘hook the big one,’ swim with dolphins in the Bay of Islands, charter a yacht or dive the Poor Knights, your options will be ample in Northland. For Jason, it was a case of choosing between two women, as Northland was the scene for the much anticipated final rose ceremony.
Jason and one of the ladies started their date on one of the area’s iconic beaches, Pink Shell beach. On his next outing Jason and his date played golf at the world famous Kauri Cliffs golf course, a par 72 championship golf course which measures 7,119 yards/ 6,510 metres and offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level.
Then both women went to the owner’s cottage at the beautiful Lodge at Kauri Cliffs where they met Jason’s family. The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs is set on 6,000 acres near Matauri Bay and has spectacular 180-degree views of the Pacific Ocean.

On the first last chance date, Jason and his date went for a romantic sail on catamaran Sail Cool Change and dived off the catamaran to swim in the ocean. For his next last chance date the couple went for coffee at a café in quaint Bay of Islands town, Russell. They then went to one of the Eagles Nest villas where they had soothing massages.
Jason also met both girls for cocktails at the Eagles Nest villas, set within a 75 acre estate on top of its own private ridgeline offering spectacular views of the ocean. Later the girls met Jason at the neighboring and breathtaking Rahimoana luxury lodge for the final rose ceremony. Rahimoana, somewhere between seven stars and heaven, is infused with warmth and light, surrounded by the sapphire seas and untouched emerald coves of the Bay of Islands.
After experiencing Queenstown and Northland, Jason thought New Zealand was the most beautiful place he has ever been. He was also blown away by the people of New Zealand. "The people were so kind and generous and that is a huge part of the entire experience," he says.
Jason also encourages Americans to vacation in New Zealand. "Go", says Jason. "It’s definitely ‘the’ place that must be on your list".
