Watch the century-old stamper in action, see the mini jaw crusher at work, and even help crush rock yourself. After your tour, add to the experience with gold panning - learn the proper technique and discover how prospectors once recognised real gold in their pans. Finish your visit with a stroll through the reserve, New Zealand’s largest working water wheel, and a climb to the lookout for sweeping views of the Coromandel landscape. Our engineering is gold.
