Any non snorkellers will be charged full price. Private charter available on reqest, $2000.
It is recommended that if you have any health problems especially a heart condition then it advised to not partake in this activity. We endeavour to keep everyone safe but it is your responsibility to be honest with us on whether you should be doing this activity. There is a discount for families, of two adults & two kids under 15, other kids can also be added at a discount. Our snorkelling is from the boat so can be overwhelming for children even though we see the ocean floor all the time.
Customer cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Bad weather forecasted? Mother Nature can provide all sorts of challenges and can dictate where we can go with our trips. Bay of Islands Snorkelling reserves the right to cancel for safety reasons. Any trip cancelled by Bay of Islands Snorkelling due to adverse weather conditions will be fully refunded.
We are the only dedicated snorkelling trip here in the Bay of Islands, travelling out past the main group of islands you'll get commentary along the way. We head to Maunganui Bay which has had a Rahui (No take zone) in it since 2010. With two snorkelling sites, one is on a reef now full of a great variety of friendly fish and the second site is a scenic archway with an amazing underwater garden full of surprises. Our 8 metre boat is fast, comfortable and has a unique platform for super easy access to get in and out of the water. All snorkelling gear and wet suits provided are top quality, with a hot shower and warm soup for when you get out of the water. With an option to get off at an Island on the way back, what else would you want.
