Boat Cruises 

New Zealand has four main cruising grounds – the Bay of Islands, Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf, the Marlborough Sounds and the aptly named Fiordland. You can take a day cruise or push the boat out and hire a yacht or motor cruiser and wander to your heart’s content. You will see things that you will never see form a car; pristine islands, glorious beaches, remote historic sites, different cultures and rare wildlife.

And it’s not limited to sailing and the sea. You can hire a punt on a city river, take a relaxing journey down a river on a houseboat, or take a high-speed jet boat ride. It’s one of the things to do, when you’re in New Zealand, going out on the water, so make sure you do it.
