Akatea Villa is boutique rural accommodation located 8km north of Hamilton City. Akatea Villa opened in April 2010. Akatea is built with a commitment to sustainability & is eco friendly.
The villa is private, spacious & quiet. The villa is hosted but can also be self contained. The rural views are spectacular, including the Hakarimata range around to Mount Pirongia. The house is ideally situated for rural venues: Woodlands, Willow Glen, & Camellia Tea House.
The villa is located within two hours to Auckland airport, Taupo, Tauranga, Rotorua, Waitomo and Raglan.
A breakfast basket with local produce is available on request. Also international visitors are welcome to share a New Zealand meal with the hosts by prior arrangement.
