Silver Hill Olive Estate on 23 acres (9.2ha) offers farm-style accommodation and food for travellers. We have reasonable daily rates, or earn your keep by doing some work on the property.
During olive picking season, (usually for around a month anytime from about late April to mid June) we need physically active people to help with the harvest. So pick for a few days, stay free for a few days.
If you are new to NZ, this is a great way to familiarise yourself with the Kiwi way of life while being able to have a look around locally.
We are one hour north of Auckland, one hour south of Whangarei (2 minutes from the main highway) and 20 minutes from surf beaches.
