Booking agents fees (if not booked direct with us) or commissions are charged as an extra to our booking fee.
Come during Olive picking season, April May June and enjoy taking part in olive picking and take home some delicious olive oil.
Please provide an email address to which our health and safety policy will be sent and acknowledged as being read. The booking can then proceed to be confirmed. To confirm your booking, we require a deposit of $40.00. Once your booking is confirmed, 14 days cancellation notice is needed to receive a full refund of your deposit, otherwise no refund will be made. If booking through a booking agent, their commissions or fees are not included in our fee and are an extra charge to you.
Silver Hill Olive Estate on 23 acres (9.2ha) offers farm-style accommodation and food for travellers. We have reasonable daily rates. During olive picking season, (usually for around a month anytime from about late April to mid June) we need physically active people to help with the harvest. So pick for a few days, stay free for a few days.
If you are new to New Zealand, this is a great way to familiarise yourself with the Kiwi way of life while being able to have a look around locally. We are one hour north of Auckland, one hour south of Whangarei (2 minutes from the main highway) and 20 minutes from surf beaches.
