Wellington Botanic Garden – one of New Zealand’s jewels. Enjoy our stunning views, unique landscape, exotic and native forests, diverse plant collections and colourful floral gardens, such as the award-winning Lady Norwood Rose Garden and the springtime massed tulip displays. Just minutes away from the city, the Garden offers beauty and intrigue all year.

The Garden also has the Treehouse Visitor Centre, duck pond, sculpture trail, a gift shop, Picnic café, and walking tracks for all levels of interest and fitness. Entry is free to this Garden of National Significance. The Begonia House and gift shop are open 9am-4pm in winter and 9am-5pm in summer (closed Christman Day and Good Friday) and the Visitor Centre is open 9am-4pm weekdays.
