Mission Bay Winter Splash
If so, grab your swimmers or your best superhero costume and head down to Mission Bay for Auckland City Council's annual Winter Splash.

The swim starts at 10.30am - with prizes for best male and female costumes - and there will be entertainment and activities until noon, including a mechanical surfboard for all you silver surfers, and a sausage sizzle.

The Winter Splash is a zero-waste event, so please do your superhero bit for the environment and take your rubbish home with you.
