Whaka 100 Mountain Bike Marathon

The Whaka 100 Mountain Bike Marathon is New Zealand's toughest offroad mountain bike event. 100km of racing through Whakarewarewa Forest with over 70% being on single track. 25km and 50km course options also available. Start and finish at the Waipa mountain bike carpark off Waipa State Mill Road.

For 2009 a gold GT bike will be given away to one lucky amateur rider in the 100km race. Valued at over $10,000 this is an opportunity not to be missed.
