Auckland Half Ironman

Saturday 20th March, 2010 is the date for the 7th Auckland Half Ironman. Over the last six years there has been steady growth in the fields with many choosing the Auckland Half Ironman as their first event over the distance. Elite competitors have also fronted up with Cameron Brown, Bryan Rhodes, Clas Bjorling, Gordo Byrn and Scott Molina to name a few.

The race starts at Maraetai with a 2km swim and is followed by a 90km bike that covers much of the old Auckland Ironman bike course. It finishes with a 21km three lap picturesque run around the foreshore of the Hauraki Gulf.
