David Clegg: Rerecordings 2006-2009
03 Oct 2009  - 24 Jan 2010

The Dunedin Public Art Gallery invite you to view a new exhibition by David Clegg, on display from Saturday October 3rd 2009.

David Clegg’s Visiting Artist Programme exhibition brings together a series of digital photographs and audio recordings simultaneously featuring specific locations in the urban landscape.

Clegg is interested in the discussion that these parallel locations will elicit in terms of place, culture and history but also how a photographic and audio archive shapes our understandings of these ideas.

Rerecordings 2006-2009 will showcase the recordings this artist made in Dunedin earlier this year alongside previous recordings, assembled here for the first time, which were made in Santiago, Chile in 2006.

The works will be on display until January 24th 2010.

Book now.
