Bike Rentals not included.
This is a self supported bikepacking course. We ride 30+km per day with loaded bikes. Participants must be physically able to carry their own equipment on their bikes. We will also be camping in a basic camp, toilets are available but this is wilderness camping, there are no showers or back up vehicle. We camp in tents on sleeping pads (all provided) Bikes can be rented from local bikeshops, Adventurefuel Bikepacking does not provide bikes. Your own bikes are recommended.
If you cancel at least 90 days before the Start Date, you will be refunded 100% of any monies paid by you for the relevant trip. If you cancel less than 90 days but at least 60 days before the Start Date, you will be refunded 50% of any monies paid by you. If you cancel 14 to 59 days before the Start Date, you will be refunded 25% of any monies paid by you. If you cancel less than 14 days before the Start Date, no refund is due. Full Terms and Conditions will be sent upon Booking.
The aim of this trip is to give you a taste of bikepacking in the most comfortable and fun way possible. Learn everything you can in a stress free, casual (and beautiful) environment. We want to take care of all the logistics for you to make sure you are having the best time possible. Your job is just to show up, ask questions, ride and have a good time. Our experienced guides will teach you all they know about packing, planning, bike mechanics and camping tricks. We have 2, half days in the classroom learning all the bikepacking skills. Then we put it all into action with a 30km backroads ride on Day 1. Day 2 and 3 we head on an overnight camping trip to a stunning camping spot for a real taste of New Zealand away from the crowds.
