Arriving at Arapawa Blue Pearls the crew will always be there to greet you at our wharf to help you safely off the boat and to meet the family who live on the farm.
Arriving off the water taxi you can take a stroll along the seashore before heading to the homestead.
Morning tea is always served with fresh homemade baking. We provide Tea and Coffee. Glueten-free baking as well as some local fruit that is in season that has grown in my garden. Recipes can be shared with you as well.

Paua is very delicious and can be severe with tours if required for an additional $20. It does not have a strong flavour, a bit like eating squid.

As you take a short leisurely walk towards the homestead through the grove of pohutukawa trees the mystery and magic is revealed during your cup of tea or coffee and some delicious home baking. Take in the breathtaking surroundings of Whekenui Bay and it's panorama outlook towards the entrance into Cook Strait. Next is an 8 minute video & on the process of growing the pearls and how we work together as a family. We will share the essential elements of our grading process and explain what makes the unique Paua pearl so highly sought after. In the Paua farm, you will see our tipper bucket invention on display along with wild and baby Paua. Visit our unique Pearl shop where we display our pearl jewellery.
