Arataki Honey Visitor Centre is an experience that people of all ages are sure to enjoy. Taste – our range of twelve delicious native & pastoral honeys. Smell – the sweet aromas of the honey and beeswax
Feel – the heat generated by the honey bees. See – our bees up close in our live observation and outdoor hives. Discover – the world of the honey bee. Dress up - as a bee or beekeeper. The Team at the centre is always on hand to greet you, help out with spotting the Queen Bee and to answer any questions that you have about honey or the honey bee. Why not visit us for a truly “sweet experience”. We welcome individuals or groups and have a number of options available, from a brief introduction to a fully hosted tour (booking essential).
