About

In 2010 Cloudy Bay produced its first vintage of Te Wahi Central Otago Pinot Noir and in 2014 purchased Northburn Vineyard. Our Cellar Door opened at Northburn in 2018.

Our goal is to let people connect with the land through a glass of wine, and to enjoy the magic of New Zealand and the breathtaking views over Lake Dunstan and the Pisa mountain range. We offer the entire Cloudy Bay range of wines at the Cloudy Bay Shed, as well as some special merchandise items. We can also arrange to ship wine home for you within New Zealand or abroad.

Light food options are available year round.

Experience Tasting $10, Indulge Tasting $25. No booking required for 1-10 people during opening hours.
Further pricing information:
No booking required for a Cellar Door tasting or glass of wine/light lunch for small groups. If your group is over 8 people please call ahead. Summer hours are 10am to 5pm 7 days (we recommend calling ahead to check opening hours and bookings are welcomed) Private Experience bookings can be made at https://www.cloudybay.co.nz/visit-us#cbxp-TitleCustomMadeExperience Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday and until 1pm on Anzac Day.
