Backpacker pricing does not include meals, but we do offer the package deal including meals.
This two day trip is suitable for very fit and active adults with plenty of mountain bike experience who want to push themselves. Can include meals.
If you love Mountain Biking, love exploring and love getting away from anything, but only have a quick weekend to get away our two day Mountains to Sea trip is for you. Meet our team for a briefing before we transport you to Turoa Ski Field, ride down Ohakune Mountain Road, the Ohakune Old Coach Road and then down to Ruatiti where you will stay overnight at the Ruatiti Hunting Lodge.
The next morning, get up bright and early to ride the Mangapurua/Bridge to Nowhere Track taking in some of the historic settlements and views over valleys before you reach the Whanganui River. The Bridge to Nowhere Jet Boat team will transport you through the Whanganui National Park to Pipiriki where we will meet you and shuttle you back to our base.
