Wharehine Retreat is a 'no news, no shoes’ adults-only getaway nestled within rolling hills adjacent to the Kaipara Harbour. We’re just over an hour’s drive from Auckland and 30 minutes west of Mangawhai.
Set within a 5-acre lifestyle block with paddocks and orchards, our free-range chooks, ducks and guinea fowl roam freely and will keep you entertained with their antics. We also have resident native eels in the duck pond and wild turkeys. The accommodation is a tastefully appointed self-contained detached cottage overlooking paddocks, with private garden and a complementary organic veggie bed.
