Taupo Panorama is a 10-minute walk to the supermarket, 2-minute drive to Taupo town centre and a 9-minute drive to Huka Falls. Keen walkers should be sure to climb the majestic peak you can see from the deck - 65,000-year-old Mt Tauhara. The summit walk takes about an hour and will reward adventurers with stunning views of Lake Taupo, Mt Tongariro and of course Mt Ruapehu.
