Your day starts with your boat ride across Lake Tarawera to where you begin your walk to the stunning Tarawera Falls. (recognised by the Department of Conservation as one of New Zealand's best short walks.) We return 3.5hrs later and the boat takes you then on to visit to the geothermal of Hot Water Beach, where locals will cook their freshly caught trout in the sand. Next you can reward yourself from your morning walk when we travel on to our beautiful natural bush hot pool for a relaxing soak. Your skipper-guide will share along the way the fascinating history, stories and ecology of this our tribal land.
