Bookings essential. Subject to availability and weather conditions. Flights require a minimum of 2 paying fares to proceed. Children under 2 years are free of charge, children aged 2-11 years are charged 75% of the adult fare provided at least 2 adults are travelling on the flight. Passengers 12 years and older pay the adult fare. Explore bus is available from Friday to Sunday only. A grand transfer will be offered from Monday to Thursday.
In the event that unsafe weather conditions or unscheduled maintenance cause the cancellation of your flight then you will be offered a refund or reschedule. (9.1) Scenic Flights and Transfer Flight bookings with less than 2 passengers: 6 days or greater no charge. 48 hours – 5 days 50% charge. Less than 48 hours or no-show 100% charge. For cancellation due to the COVID pandemic related restrictions, you will be offered to reschedule.
Your day will begin at the Auckland CBD Ferry Terminal, where you will catch the Fullers 360 ferry across to Waiheke Island taking in all the local scenery and surrounding Islands. At the Matiatia Ferry Terminal, hop on to the Explorer bus and enjoy as many stops as you like before Stop 12 (Batch Vineyard / Waiheke Aerodrome). The flight path shows you the most popular locations on Waiheke from a bird’s eye view. Heading out over the majestic beach and quaint town of Oneroa, you will see views of Rangitoto with the Auckland CBD in the background as well as views of Ponui, Pakatoa and Rotoroa Island. After your flight, it is a short walk back to the bus stop to jump back onto the Explorer bus. The rest of the day is up to you.
