About
We pick you up and go on our journey to the wild West Coast via the wine region and countryside of Kumeu. Muriwai, one of New Zealand’s most spectacular black-sand beaches, nestled between Auckland’s beautiful native rain forest and rock-clashing world-class surf. It’s a short and easy walk up the cliff-tops to the viewing platforms to give you stunning views far over the dramatic coastline of the Tasman Sea. You get up close to the Gannet colony that you can count the eggs and observe the fluffy chicks. A scenic drive on windy roads through the native bush takes us to one of Auckland’s "Must-Do“ attractions. Here we find ourselves surrounded by the natural beauty one expects to see in New Zealand.
