About

Dunedin Craft Distillers is the first distillery in Aotearoa and one of only a handful worldwide, to produce spirits and liqueurs exclusively from local bread and bakery goods otherwise destined for waste. Our unique Bread to Bottle Tour includes a guided tasting. Depending on production schedules when you visit you may see the brewhouse in operation, be offered fermented bread wash to sample, see our 500 Litre copper reflux still, Hildegard, at full roar or chat to staff as they hand-zest citrus for gins and liqueurs. There is always something of interest going on! Tours are led by either one of the distillery founders or our experienced staff.
