Fishing licenses.
The rate for the boat is $290 per hour and not per person for up to 10 fishing and 20 cruising. Half day fly fishing is $575 and full day is $975. Helicopter option vary. Please enquire as seasonal offers may apply.
If a cancellation is received within 30 days, a 25% fee is charged. If a cancellation is received within 7 days, a 100% fee is charged. If we are able to fill your cancelled booking there is no forfeiture fees. Covid restrictions can restrict operation and we will treat each case with compassion. We are not always able to fill cancellations; we suggest adequate travel insurance to safeguard against any unforeseen circumstances that may cause the cancellation of the booking.
Cruise or fish the scenic waters of Lake Tarawera. From the thermal waters of Te Rata Bay, Mount Tarawera (site of the first recorded volcanic eruption), scenic native bush & a chance of catching a trophy rainbow trout. There is the unique opportunity to cook your catch in a natural hot spring while you relax in a natural thermal springs.
Some of the best fly fishing the central North Island offers is accessed from Rotorua either by drive in or to a backcountry river by helicopter.
