Stony Batter Tunnels. Guided tours temporarily closed - the Historic Reserve remains open. Ngāi Tai ki Tāmaki and Man O’ War Vineyards are proud to take on the role of kaitiaki (guardians) of Stony Batter Historic Reserve. As we work alongside the Department of Conservation to finalise operational arrangements and prepare the site for this next chapter, guided tours of the Stony Batter tunnels are temporarily unavailable. The Stony Batter Historic Reserve and surrounding tracks remain open to the public. We look forward to welcoming visitors to new guided experiences in the near future and will share further updates as soon as they are confirmed.
