For all your accommodation and travel queries and to find out about local attractions, make sure you visit the Gore Visitor Centre.
Located within the heritage precinct, the Centre is central to two of Gore's main attractions - the Hokonui Moonshine Museum and the world-renowned Eastern Southland Gallery, home to the John Money and NZ artist Ralph Hotere collections.
Our friendly staff can help with bookings for local events. Don't leave without trying some of our local whiskey!
Open seven days: Monday to Friday 8:30pm - 5:00pm, Saturday 9:30am - 4:00pm, Sunday 1:00pm - 4:00pm (bookings not available on Sundays).
