Kowhai Lane is two night minimum stay and is packaged with a "Sails" Guided Ulva Island exploration tour. This adds $185 pp to the tariff. Guests enjoy a 10% discount off the standard airfare if flying Southern Air.

Stewart Island/Rakiura National Park offers everything that is excellent about natural New Zealand. Virgin forest, deserted beaches, undisturbed bird and marine life and all easily viewed and enjoyed.
Kowhai Lane is the ideal base to explore Stewart Island, overlooking Halfmoon Bay. All rooms are ensuite and newly redecorated. All rooms are centrally heated and share a modern kitchen. The large lounge & extensive library of local interesting books & videos are available for guests enjoyment on wet afternoons & evenings. Complimentary transfers on both arrival & departure are included.
