Iconic Waitangi Treaty Grounds are close, plus wineries, boutique cheese, confectioners and farmers’ markets 7 minutes’ drive away in Kerikeri and Paihia, with restaurants, food outlets and craft shops. The long, sleek, architect-designed lodge and dining room have high, solid timber ceilings, while light-filled airconditioned ensuite rooms offer private panoramic balconies with garden access.
