All climbers and belayers pay the usage fee at the office and provide all their own equipment and must wear a helmet. No modification of or adding bolts or hangers. All climbers are responsible for themselves.

About

Waipu Caves Farm Park has a range of adventure activities including climbing. This is for experienced climbers with their own equipment. Instructors and gear provided for schools or large groups. 60 different climbs over 3 crags, set up with 2 hangers for top rope climbing, some for lead climbing and a some can be trad climbed. Climbs range in height up to 12m, very easy to difficult. Climbers must bring their own gear and self manage but pay a small site fee for the wall. Camping is also available with kitchen, flush toilets and hot showers. There is a small river to swim in and 10km of walking tracks called 'The Jurassic Walks' to enjoy and a guided cave tour in the Milky Way Glow Worm Cave.
