Departing from the Cruise Ship Port Gates at Tauranga Harbour, this scenic journey travels past Mount Maunganui with a stop at the famous Main Beach, known for golden sands, surf, and stunning coastal views. We then head inland through rich farmland, crossing the Kaituna River and passing ancient caldera lakes on the way to Rotorua. At Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland, explore steaming vents, bubbling mud, volcanic craters, colourful mineral terraces, and the spectacular Champagne Pool. Nearby mud pools showcase Rotorua’s powerful geothermal activity. Returning to Tauranga, we stop at the majestic Redwoods Forest before travelling through the kiwifruit orchards of Paengaroa and back to Tauranga Harbour.
