This half-day Tongariro River journey is one of the best rafting adventures in New Zealand. The rapids are Grade 3, which makes this an ideal adventure for expert or first-time rafters alike. In 2 hours you'll navigate over 60 roller coaster rapids with an expert guide at the helm. We'll show you parts of the river that can only be accessed by raft so you’ll see plenty of unspoilt wilderness and may catch a glimpse of the endangered Whio ( Blue Duck). Our guides are fully qualified professionals (and super friendly) and our gear is top quality. All you need is swimwear and a towel - we provide everything else you need.
