Beaches, culture, nature and adventure
With only a week you can still experience a lot in New Zealand's North.
Travel to the Coromandel Peninsula for great beaches, surfing, sea kayaking and playful dolphins. Rotorua, is the geothermal hotspot of the North Island and known for Maori culture.
Continue through Lake Taupo to Tongariro Crossing - one of the most spectacular day hikes in the world. On the way home, stop for some Blackwater Rafting in Waitomo.
