Weight restrictions: Minimum weight 20kg, maximum weight 105kg. Maximum passenger weight is made up by body weight plus clothing and shoes on the day. Email us if you think you are close to the limit. You must have no medical condition that could be affected by gliding. If you think you may suffer from motion sickness, make your pilot aware of this. Taking motion sickness pills can make the experience more enjoyable, Glide Queenstown reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or reorganise trips
If the trip has to be cancelled due to weather conditions, there are no cancellation fees. Also a full refund if cancelling more than 48 hours before departure. However, if you cancel your trip between 48 and 24 hours of departure, there is a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of departure, or over the weight limit, no refund. No refund if you are not turning up for the departure time of the trip. A change of booking fee of NZ$50 per person applies subject to availability.

You will be allowed to fly the glider yourself under instruction from your pilot if you choose. The only Civil Aviation Authority Part 115 approved glider operator in New Zealand.
