Tūrangi return shuttle picks you up from your accommodation in Tūrangi and takes you to the start of the track. In the afternoon we also pick up from the end of the track and bring you back to Tūrangi again.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of tour date incur a 100% cancellation fee. Your booking is refundable or transferable up to 24 hours before at no extra cost. If we need to cancel due to poor or unsafe weather conditions on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, we offer a transfer on your ticket to another day that suits you or a full refund. No refund is given in the case of missing the bus.
Tūrangi is a great place to base yourself for the crossing. You have a range of places to stay and it is not far from the end of the track. We can pick up from most accommodation providers if it is central, if not we can pick up from the Tūrangi Customer & Visitor Information Centre. This is an easy way to get to and from the crossing. Pick up in the afternoon is 2-3pm (confirmed on the day).
