We offer guaranteed departures for booked guests with no minimum number. The Essential Walk departs 10am daily from the isite Visitor Centre 50 Cable St inside Tākina, the Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre. It covers Wellington's waterfront, downtown, courts and parliamentary areas in an easy walk of two to two and a half hours. This walk finishes at Old St Paul's Cathedral in Mulgrave St, allowing you time to further explore the city. Our guests are taken into some significant buildings. Note that some buildings may be closed on weekends and holidays, and that entry to the New Zealand Supreme Court requires security screening. Walk Wellington is a "not for profit" group and surplus funds are donated back to city attractions.
