You will join Scott Tours for a day tour to Rotorua, one of New Zealand’s most interesting destinations. On arrival at Whakarewarewa, The Living Māori Village you will meet your guide from the village who is a descendant from the guides who guided at the world famous Pink and White Terraces prior to the eruption in 1886. Your guide will explain to you the uniqueness of Te Whakarewarewa Valley, of its history and significance in geothermal terms and how the people in the village live on a daily basis, cooking in the steam and bubbling pools, bathing in the geothermal waters and heating their homes. You will then be entertained by one of Rotorua’s leading Kapa Haka groups.
