The entrance to the property is marked by two Draceana draco (Dragon Trees} and two stone pillars sculpted by my world renowned brother, Chris Booth.
While visiting the Bay of Islands come and have a relaxing visit to Wharepuke Subtropical Garden.
Wharepuke, meaning “house on the hill” is a sub-tropical and dry climate garden featuring various unusual and exotic plants from around the world.
Quite a few species are represented by only one plant and in one case maybe the only plant in New Zealand.
A dry climate sunken garden is starting to look attractive.
Within walking distance are the Stone Store and the Mission House, respectively New Zealand’s oldest stone and wooden buildings.
Open everyday.
