Hear the stories of the great migration of Arawa Waka, its significant landing site & the legendary Tama Te Kapua.
Afterwards feel the Manaakitanga(hospitality/kindness & care) & Whanaungatanga (relationships, family). An intimate hands on experience learning about traditional cooking methods beneath the ground, preparing, unearthing , revealing the smokey aroma, feasting on a traditional Hangi, fry bread, steam pudding & a selection of beverage
