Warkworth Museum

Situated in the stunning Parry Kauri Park, our family friendly museum showcases the history of our district the Museum and gives an insight into the lives of our pioneering families.

From the past to the present, we have a magnificent display of colonial history which is beautifully presented. There are numerous display rooms on the ground floor and on the first floor, there are re-created rooms of the 1920’s – a corner store, kitchen, bedrooms, sitting room, carpentry and blacksmith workshops and a wash house showing the furniture, clothing and the tools of yesteryear.

Our main exhibition room is updated annually so there is always something new to see.
