Golf and Gourmet

A fine food and golfing holiday staying in luxury accommodation in New Zealand's central North Island.

For golf aficionados, this itinerary offers a short break in the central North Island of New Zealand and an opportunity to explore and indulge in New Zealand’s best food and wine at two very special luxury lodges, one in Taupo and one in Napier. The golf courses are Wairakei and Cape Kidnappers. Pick up your car in Auckland and drive down to Taupo or we recommend flying direct to Rotorua Airport, hiring your car there and then returning it when you fly out from Napier airport at the end of the week.

Green Journeys allows you to build your own itinerary or adopt one of our suggested itineraries, book it or modify it to suit your special interests and dates. Green Journeys itineraries encourage staying at least 2-3 nights in each location so that you have a chance of enjoying the region, sampling the activities and attractions available and relaxing in your accommodation. Accommodations in our Green Collection are individually owned and hosted, intimate, luxurious and situated in beautiful surroundings. Our suggested activities are equally carefully selected.
