About

Step into the heart of Te Aratipi, a working sheep and beef station shaped by four generations of the Palmer farming family. Hosted by Ed and Ro Palmer, this relaxed and authentic experience offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into rural New Zealand farm life. Explore the historic woolshed and farm yards, hear stories of the Palmer family, and discover modern farming, native bush regeneration and conservation. Travel through the rolling hill country to a scenic viewpoint, with the chance to see seasonal farm activities, stock work and working dogs. Finish with generous farm-style morning or afternoon tea and homemade hospitality at the homestead. No two visits are the same - each is shaped by the season and rhythm of farm life.
