Rotorua Rafting are located on the Kaituna River - 20 minutes outside of Rotorua. We offer white water rafting on the worlds highest commercially rafted waterfall. The Kaituna river is also rich in Māori culture and Rotorua Rafting want to show that off to the world. Prior to dropping off the face of the Earth you will raft through pre-historic Aotearoa (New Zealand), on the Kaituna River. The river has long been the source of life for the local iwi (tribe). It supplied Kai (food) and wai (water) needed for survival. However it has not always been a peaceful place, for centuries the local warriors of Ngati Hinerangi battled to protect their Taonga (treasure) that is the Kaituna.
