Minimum of 4 people must be on the booking for the trip to go ahead.
All cancellations made by the customer will incur a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations made by the customer less than 24 hours before the trip will incur a 50% cancellation fee. On the day cancellations or no shows will receive no refund of their payment. Any cancellations made by Wellington Rafting (due to weather) will receive a full refund.
Spend the day in the astonishing Waiohine gorge, starting with a scenic rafting tour on the beautiful emerald green water of the wild Waiohine river, stopping at water falls for group photos and spending quality time with your friends and Whanau jumping off rocks.
After the river experience, we will provide a catered lunch for the team to enjoy while we prepare you for the 30 metre abseil. You and your team will be rappelling a 30-metre wall down to the river with our experienced guides giving thorough instruction and coaching you over the edge. This is an amazing activity for ages from 8 years and above, the perfect kids' birthday adventure idea or a great way to test the confidence levels of adults.
