Wanaka Beerworks was established in 1998 and is situated in one of the most picturesque towns in New Zealand. We get our inspiration for our beer from the beautiful surroundings and the town's unique vibe that's why we use the local landmarks on our labels.
The brewery is now owned by Jabberwocky Brewery Ltd with owners Ruenell and Mike Wing who considered it a perfect opportunity as they have a passion for brewing and beers. They started brewing at home in the shed years ago and realised they were onto something when locals started knocking on their door to buy beer. The Jabberwocky range was born in Central Otago in early 2013.
We run daily brewery tours at 2pm and are open 7 days a week for tastings and take away purchases.
